Waialae Nui Ridge

Waialae Nui Ridge offers the best of East Honolulu living. This gracious hillside neighborhood overlooks Kahala, Hawaii’s “Beverly Hills,” famed for its golden-sand beach, five-star resort, prominent country club and upscale shopping mall. Waialae Nui Ridge has an edge over Kahala, however, with its range of well-priced residences plus panoramic views of the ocean, Diamond Head Crater and Waikiki.

The Waialae Nui Ridge neighborhood traces up two foothills that frame peaceful Waialae Nui Valley. On the western rim, comfortable mid-century homes offer affordable and stylish family living. On the eastern rim, modestly upscale homes gradually give way to mid- and late-century residential masterpieces, rarely available and in high demand. A number of the home models were designed by the renowned Vladimir Ossipoff, the “Frank Lloyd Wright” of Island architecture. Near the top of the ridge, Oahu’s smallest gated community—Waialae Pinnacle, with only five homes—offers ultimate luxury. Many ridge residents also enjoy an exclusive association membership that includes access to a private neighborhood recreation center with two swimming pools, a playground and more. The open landscapes along Waialae Nui Ridge are preservation land.
