Nuuanu

Nuuanu

Nuuanu is a unique neighborhood with a variety of architectural styles and grand views of the Honolulu city lights and Pacific Ocean. Its lush green valleys make Nuuanu a cooler neighborhood than most other areas. If you love history, Nuuanu is filled with rich historical sites such as Queen Emma Summer Palace, Pali Lookout, Foster Botanical Garden and Judd Memorial Trail. Also, the ancient irrigation canals which provided fresh water to the Hawaiian taro fields has been preserved by the efforts of the Historic Hawaii Foundation. This is why people refer to buying a piece of real estate in Nuuanu means buying a part of the Hawaiian culture itself. In addition to its rich history and lush tropical landscape, it is centrally located and just a few minutes to the downtown financial district.
